    Venku brings almost three decades of invaluable experience in the field of Visa Outsourcing and Travel and Tourism industry vertical. Having worked with various multinational organisations such as TCI, Thomas Cook, Carlson Wagonlit, and Kuoni, her key focus has always been innovations, customer experience and service delivery, enhanced technical and commercial solutions.

    In 2003, Venku made the strategic shift from Travel Industry to Visa Outsourcing when she joined VFS. Here, she was responsible for the rapid growth of the business in South Asia, Middle East and North Africa, and South East Asia. At VFS, she started with just handful of missions, and was able to scale up and initiate business with numerous diplomatic missions, contributing significantly to company's overall net revenue. She was able to make her region the most profitable. She also focused on building relationships that eventually led to business development. She considers employee motivation at forefront while running any operations.

    In 2006, Venku was responsible for the implementation of biometrics for UKVI in all regions, followed by the implementation of biometrics across the Schengen missions. She is responsible for introducing the concept of service centres in satellite locations to enhance the customer experience.

    Most recently, Venku served as the CEO of IVS Global Services, a newcomer to the visa outsourcing market. In just 2 years, she acquired and initiated business operations in 4 countries. She also made a substantial impact to their operations in 9 countries from ground zero. This resulted in IVS’s presence as a strong competitor in the diplomatic outsourcing business.

    Since joining CKGS, Venku has worked to evolve sustainable and effective commercial models. Strengthened existing relationship with the clients in all the geographies and also led business expansions in new geographies. She continues to focus on transforming our customer experience and has already made significant contributions in streamlining business operations.

  • Roshan Wijithananda
    Vice President, Business Development and Projects

    An industry specialist, Roshan has 12 years of experience in the Front End Services (FES) sector. Roshan joins us after serving as Senior Vice President (Regional Manager) for Approved Vendor Programmes at VFS Tasheel & VFS Global. As part of his role, he gained in-depth experience in market growth, programme management, and process re-engineering.

    After completing a Business Management course at the University of Colombo, Roshan worked with numerous central government bodies. He is credited with the successful development and implementation of outsourced FES solutions.

    At CKGS, Roshan works with teams to finalise and deliver Mobilisation Plans and monitor their progress while also liaising with stakeholders to ensure that targets and timelines are met.

  • Santanu Bhattacharya
    Head of Operations

    With more than 20 years of experience, Santanu is among the best equipped to set up and manage large, complex programmes for government sectors. He is also highly accomplished in the fields of Business Planning, and Project and Operations Management for citizen-centric government service delivery in the B2B, B2C and G2C markets. Over the last decade and a half, he has been associated with the visa, passport and consular outsourcing industry in different capacities. Further, he has been instrumental in setting up efficient operations that run effectively all over the world.

    His core competency lies in the overall operations management across multiple regions. He is in charge of the development and implementation of delivery models, frameworks and numerous strategies. His practical approach to problem-solving allows him to design solutions that improve, transform and sustain our service delivery in a highly competitive and challenging business environment. He focuses his efforts on understanding the customer's requirements and then develops business processes and procedures that support new services.

    Santanu firmly believes that the continued improvements to processes, the use of new technologies and automation will greatly enhance our productivity.
